How do I use the reporting suite as a Model Manager?

This guide demonstrates how Model Managers can access and use Netwealth's reporting suite. It details how to generate reports like Asset Performance, FUM, Model Flows, PERF Account Daily Value, Performance Transaction Listing, Dividends Receivable, Model Allocations, Model Mandate Check, and Performance Daily Holdings.

1. To access the reporting suite, log in to the Netwealth website and navigate to "Reports".
2. Select a report you wish to perform, you can read more about the available reports below.
3. Adjust the settings to your preference. You can select the timeframe (either a present period or custom) as well as additional settings such as subtypes and formats.
4. Click "Submit" to generate the report.  

What reports are available? 

Asset Performance

The asset performance report gives performance at an asset level and the model as a whole for the chosen time period. 

 

FUM

The funds under management (FUM) report displayed funds under management at a model level, licensee, asset class and instrument type as at the chosen date. No client data will be visible. 

 

Model Flows

The Model Flows report show inflow and outflow at an adviser level as well as a model level for the time period chosen.

 

PERF Account Daily Value Report

The PERF Account Daily Value report gives the daily closing balance of the PERF account in addition to the daily returns.

 

Performance Transaction Listing

The Performance Transaction Listing report will show all transactions listings on the PERF account for the time period specified. 

 

Dividends Receivable

This report will display all upcoming ASX dividends including the asset, amount, record date and pay date.

 

Model Allocations

This report is a snapshot of the underlying assets and the percentage allocation between two dates. This report uses the MACC model holdings.

 

Model Mandate Check

Every model is created under the designated mandate and rules according to its PDS. This report provides the current mandates and highlights any fails. Note, a mandate report is also run automatically every time a model change is submitted.

 

Performance Daily Holdings Report

A snapshot of the underlying assets within the PERF account for the time period chosen.
