How can I check how a withdrawal is progressing?

When you request a withdrawal, the funds generally appear in the designated bank account within 24-72 hours. However, this timeline may be delayed if there are insufficient funds available in the cash account to complete the withdrawal. In such cases, the withdrawal will remain pending until enough cash becomes available.

This often occurs when assets must be sold to generate the required funds. The withdrawal request will remain pending until the proceeds from the asset sales are settled and credited to the cash account. Once sufficient funds are available, the withdrawal will be processed and deposited into the designated bank account.

If you requested an asset sale, you can track the progress of these sales online using the steps below.  Alternatively, you can view this guide to learn how to sell an asset.

How can I check the status of a pending asset sale or withdrawal?

If you have online access, you can check the status of any asset sales from within your Netwealth online account. When logged in, navigate using the main menu to:

Transactions > Search Transactions > transactions and select the Pending tab.

The Pending tab displays any withdrawals awaiting cash along with any pending assets sales. It also shows the indicative sale confirmation date for each asset sale, allowing you to estimate when funds will arrive into the cash account, based off the asset’s settlement time. Once sufficient funds have settled, any pending withdrawals will be automatically processed.
