How do I add and edit property data feeds and asset information?

With Netwealth's property data feeds, you can add data on a home and investment properties to see their current estimated value. In this guide, we cover the steps required to add property data to a Portfolio Dashboard, how to edit the property's display name, value and purchase details, along with the steps to remove a property.

How do I add property data via the adviser portal?

  1. Log in to your adviser desktop portal and use the search bar to navigate to your clients 'Portfolio Holdings'.
  2. Select Dashboard in the blue ribbon to show your client's 'Portfolio Dashboard'.
  3. Select the Add account or property button which appears under the blue ribbon on the right hand side.
  4. Select Add property and enter your client’s property address into the search bar.
  5. Select your property from the search results, select Add when prompted after reading the disclaimer, then select Add property.
  6. The selected property will now appear in your client’s 'Portfolio Dashboard' screen, along with an estimated property value.

How do I update property value and purchase details?

  1. Log into your adviser portal and navigate to your client’s 'Portfolio Dashboard'. 
  2. Select the three dots to the right of your client’s property and select Edit details.
  3. Update your property details including: Display name, Custom value, Purchase price and Purchase date
  4. Select Update to confirm your changes.    

How do I remove a property?

  1. Log in to your adviser portal and navigate to your client’s 'Portfolio Dashboard'.
  2. Select the three dots to the right of your client’s property and select Delete.
  3. Select Delete property to confirm request.
